In Aikido we are trained not to hasten away from the incoming attack but to accept its fact, move toward the opponent, blend with him, and utilize the force of the attack to our advantage. It takes years to reprogram our natural response to danger.
This principle can be used in an unpleasant life situation. When we accept it and become one with it, then the perfect solution emerges and everything evolves – the self, the opponent, and the situation.
