A Poem about Tarot

A deck of Tarot

The Tarot is a powerful tool for gaining insight into a specific situation. It helps analyze the situation, reveals aspects that have been hidden from sight, and can suggest new directions to explore.

Here is a small poem I wrote as an exercise for the CW course I am doing…

Open Tarot and tell the story,
Let it flow into the willing listener.
Weave your tales and pour
salvation into their hearts,
let the picture come clear to them –
let them know that they are not alone.

Let them know that their story
is already played in the Heavenly realms.
It is set and done.
Yet the Universe is kind –
and they are offered to step into the game
and change it any time –
through the power of their free will.

Travel High into the Region of Stillness… – a Poem

Dear energy mind, give me a poem for the morning!

This was an exercise from Silvia Hartmann’s Creative Writing Course. It gave quite an unexpected result.

The snow white regions of the skies
are untouched by human feelings and emotions.
These lower lives freeze and fall onto the ground.
What is left is the awe of
something grand,
something that is not man-made,
something inexplicably higher
and indescribably beautiful
and worthwhile.

Wherever you are sad or confused
or accusative or wallowing in self-pity,
travel high into the region of stillness and
just observe the silence and the beauty
permeating everything around.

It’s a better option.
It’s another home of yours.
There is always a better choice
available to you
at this moment now.

The Underwater World

Diving in Neva, St. Petersburg

Many years ago, when I was around 18-19, I joined a diving club. We would put on scuba gears and descend into the opaque waters of the lakes in the Leningrad region.

We swam in the dark water beating up the mud from the bottom of the lake. It was interesting yet cold and scary… Long forgotten memories…

Some 20-plus years later our family was on a vacation in Thailand. We took an excursion to Phi Phi Island. The brochure advertised ‘snorkeling’ to which I did not pay much attention because I was not familiar with this word. [Read more…]
