My Russian healer friends advised me also to gently knock on the plaster with a wooden plank to speed up the bone healing process. They say that vibrations make the bone heal twice faster.
Another healer from Latvia recommended a sound massage with the Nepalese singing bowls. She noted that the hand-forged bowls are much better than the cast ones.
There is a technique involved, she says. It’s best to learn from a gong-master. But if you have no access to a good teacher, do it yourself: keep the bowl next to the fractured bone and hit the bowl with a mallet in a rhythmic pattern. Allow the sound vibration to resonate in the bones. Do it for 10 min daily.
It feels good.
